| Parkstile Antiques is run by the husband and wife partnership of Margaret and Roger Tharby. Margaret and Roger who have had a home in the same Surrey village for some 40 years although they have lived for a number of years in America, have had a lifelong interest in antiques from both a family background and as collectors. In his previous career Roger was a metallurgist and materials engineer and worked for a number of years in the nickel, copper and associated precious metals industry whilst Margaret was a commercial artist working principally in exhibition and display design. On returning from an extended stay in America some ten years ago Parkstile Antiques was established. Roger and Margaret initially joined a highly successful local antiques shop at it's inception quickly becoming it's silver and glass specialists and also doing antiques fairs. However, following a temporary closure of the shop they have chosen to devote all their attention to Fairs focusing on the larger national events. |
